Stay HealthyInformation Resources Fruit
and Veggies Pledge! The Santa Cruz Womens Health Center is challenging
teens to take the Fruits & Veggies Pledge. We are launching this
program, in support of the Fruits & Veggies More Matters® brand which
emphasizes the health and nutritional benefits associated with increased fruit
and vegetable consumption. You can participate by joining the The
Fruits and Veggies Pledge on Santa
Cruz Women's Health Center facebook page from Fruits & Veggies More Matters
Cause. Taking the pledge means that you will: - Post a daily status
update on your Facebook page about the fruits and vegetables you ate that day
-
Take at least three additional actions over the next six months, either choosing
from a list we will provide or actions that you come up with on your own. For
example, you can use interactive tools online to analyze what they ate for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website:
http://www.fruitsandveggiesmatter.gov/activities/analyze_my_plate.html
-
Share with others taking the pledge by posting about your actions, ideas, and
experience on the The Fruits and Veggies Pledge Cause page.
